Christmas with Gran and Grandpa
We've had a great Christmas with Mum and Dad here. First we spent some time around home...
Then Mum and Dad went off to canoe the Whanganui River and explore Wellington.
...then a very nice Kiwi Christmas in Auckland with all the trimmings (plenty of brandy butter of course, and a "very moist" ham on Christmas day).
Then a bit more beach...
... then a fantastic time on "Future Perfect", a friend's boat. We came home a little early due to a small problem with the engine (not our fault, honest, but better than losing the propeller last year!) but we had a really great time and the weather was perfect. The house feels very empty now that they've gone!
