Back from boating.
After the tail end of tropical cyclone Evan hit NZ, we headed out n Boxing Day in the boat. We spent a few days over on the Coromandel coast, and found some good scallops and fish around the beautiful islands. Then we headed back over to Waiheke for New Year, with the rest of the world. We still managed to find a quiet bay-let with only us in. Luckily no one else seems to know about tides or how to work out depth... there is always a small space for a Stewart 34 up the front!
Adrienne and Cameron had great fun swimming off the boat. Cameron started using his mask and snorkel and is now happy swimming around the dinghy with Adrienne. And even Kate managed to swing off the spinnaker pole...! Erica managed to steer us home today without help.
All in all, a great trip. Looking forward to another week sometime.
