Progress on the dinghy

I decided last year to build a wooden sailing / rowing dinghy as a tender for our boat. She is a 2.8m long x 1.35m wide, round bilge sailing pram. Construction is strip-plank kahikatea. There are about 120 strips of 7mm thick. I finished the stripping in mid-July and have now just applied 3 layers of 600gm fibreglass and am going through the process of adding fill coats to make it invisible. These pictures give progress to date, and the last picture shows the hull with the fibreglass applied. Not much space in a single garage!
