Camping at Tawharanui
We had a great long weekend camping with Holly, Nigel, Rory, Daisy, Ella, Rochelle, Stephen, Ruby, Liam and Dylan.... phew! We were at Tawharanui marine reserve, about 1h 30mins north of Auckland. the weather was excellent and had been for the preceding few weeks, so the water was crystal clear. We had some excellent surfing and snorkelling. Adrienne snorkelled for the firs time (see video) and was quickly happy to float with me out to deep water to see the fish. Cameron could not be removed from his surfboard for most of the weekend and Erica and Ella played all kinds of games. A great weekend! We didn't spot the tsunami though....
