Summer again?
In the land of the long white cloud, summer traditionally starts on Labour Weekend (this year 23-25th October). Whilst we often get good weather then, in practice summer usually then finishes again 3 days later until after Christmas!
This year has been no exception, with a fantastic high pressure and hot weather allowing us our first nights away this year. We had 2 nights in Woody Bay on Rakino with lunch at the Noises on the Sunday (sort of like the Humps for all you Guernsey people).
We did have a winter, honest, but just didn't take many pictures. All 3 kids skied down their first run at Whakapapa in horizontal driving rain.... fun!
